A Digital Computer Operator is responsible for managing computer resources efficiently and provide a maximum response. They analyze and rectify hardware, software any other issues related to operations and network. The operator job role includes the operation of performance consoles, printers, tap drives, disk drives. They also provide technical and operational support for the Wide Area and Local Area Networks.

It is the responsibility of the operator to contact the vendors and research about new products, pricing and other components.
